Lift Up the Word – Lift up the World |
When you pray, He listens. |
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.

Please Pray with Us
Please pray with us for shipping of medications, supplies, and holiday shoeboxes for children throughout Honduras. We are grateful for our partner AMEN who organizes and manages the loading of the container. Please pray for their volunteers as they do the hard work of gathering and loading, and for the safe travel of the container to Honduras.
Please pray for telemedicine and community health during the rainy season.
Please pray that all of our services, including in-person mission teams, telemedicine, and community development, are guided to help those in greatest need when they need it most.
Praise God for Commitment to the Mission.
Please thank God for the 23 Team Leaders who successfully led teams. They provided over 7,700 primary care visits during the year. In addition, there were teams that included dentists and eye doctors/surgeons who provided special care.
As we move into 2025, please pray for the team leaders – Lou Altman, Carrie Bush, Dr. Emily Barnes, Dr. Gail Colby, Dr. Joel Edwards, Dr. Vickie Glover, Molly Johnson, Dr. Fran Kunda, Terri Morgan, Nikki Nissen, Heather Norman, Mark Painter, Laura Richeson, Dr. Loreli Rowe, Dr. Sean Rowe, Steve Rowe, Dr. Philip Stover, Dr. Jeremy Selley, Dr. Victoria Selley, Shelley Thomas, and Sandy van Leliveld.
We have a few weeks without Team Leaders, so please pray those are filled quickly!
Prayers for Our Special Needs Patients. Persons with disabilities in Honduras, one of the poorest countries in Central America, are stigmatized and rarely receive support. Many schools have no accommodations for children with special needs, and parents do not know how to advocate for them.
Currently, the foundation provides assistance with physical therapy and medications, as well as additional support when possible. These children and their families are vulnerable and desperate for help. Your prayers provide strength and the knowledge they have hope for great outcomes for their loved ones.
Please pray for positive health outcomes for…
- Suany – an infant who is failure the thrive.
- Katerin – who had surgery on her club foot last year. She and her mother will travel 8 hours to Tegucigalpa for a checkup today.
- Josue – who will be receiving dental work prior to his next surgery for a cleft palate/lip next year.
- Yan Carlos – who still struggles from epileptic seizures and other physical challenges.
- Javier Christopher (pictured) – who just turned 10! He is doing a fantastic job in school and is working hard on his strength.
A Prayer Request from our neighbor church in LaCeiba:
What a great blessing it is to be able to pray for each other. We at El Tabernaculo Church every Saturday afternoon, the Intercessors pray for the North American Missionaries.
I would like you to help us pray: I want to build a Minor Temple next to the Major Temple (which is more for National Events with a Larger Capacity) And I am really praying to have this Section next to the Church with a capacity of 80 people.
I thank you for your desire to unite us in prayer for this cause. God bless you greatly and many greetings to all.
Respectfully,
Lesbia Suyapa Ramirez
El Tabernaculo pastor
Please pray for our CHHF Committees. Our Medical Committee and Pharmacy Committee are working hard to prepare for a new mission team year.
Please pray for our medical mission friends throughout the world. Any specifics and talk about the importance of partnerships.
Continue to pray for the safely and health of our friends in Honduras and in the United States.
Thank you for faithfully supporting CHHF.
