Lift Up the Word – Lift up the World
When you pray, He listens.
“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.”
– 1 Peter 1:6-7
As we come together in prayer this month, let us take heart in knowing that our trials are not wasted. They are refining us, shaping our faith, and drawing us nearer to the heart of God. Just as gold is purified in fire, so our faith is strengthened through testing—revealing its true worth and beauty.
May this truth encourage us to pray with deeper trust, greater perseverance, and abiding hope.
Whether you are walking through a personal storm or interceding for others, know that God is at work in the midst of it all—bringing forth something far more lasting than gold.
Let us lift up our prayers together with confidence, knowing He is faithful.
Pray for Healing. Pray for Hope.
Refined Through Trials – Rejoicing in Answered Prayers
- For the last two months we have lifted up Jairo after he suffered severe burns—an uncertain and frightening time. Today, we are filled with joy as we share that he is healing better than even the doctors expected! His smile on a recent Zoom call said it all. He eagerly showed us how far he has come and how well his burns have healed.
- Little Kimberly Mabel was just six days old when she was rushed to the hospital with an infection, is now thriving! Her mother reports that she is completely infection-free and growing fast.
These stories remind us that God is present in our trials and powerful in His response. Thank you for your faithful prayers—your intercession has made a difference. Let’s continue to lift up one another, knowing that each trial refines us and each answer brings Him glory.
Please Join Us In Prayer This Month For…

…those traveling to Honduras this month
Please join us in prayer for our upcoming medical mission teams. Steve Rowe and Richard Bowie will be leading a team departing on June 5th, followed by Drs. Sean and Loreli Rowe, who will travel with their team on June 20th. These faithful partners have been a blessing to our Honduran communities, and we are excited to see how God will work through them in the weeks ahead.

We also ask for your prayers for Christine Mitchell, our Executive Director, and Dr. Ashley Bean as they travel to Honduras this month to focus on critical behind-the-scenes work. Their efforts lay the foundation for the mission to thrive and ensure our teams can serve effectively and smoothly.
Thank you for covering all of these team members in prayer as they go to love, serve, and uplift others in Jesus’ name.
…Friends and Patients in Honduras
We invite you to join us in prayer for the patients we serve and for the health of the communities across Honduras. Each appointment is more than just a moment of care—it’s an opportunity for healing, encouragement, and the love of Christ to be shared.
We trust that God is present in every visit, guiding the hands of our medical teams, bringing healing to the sick, and offering peace and strength to families facing uncertainty. Your prayers truly make a difference.
Please continue to lift up the following individuals as they seek medical care, and pray also for lasting wellness throughout the communities we serve:

- Eduar N. who has a check-up appointment with a pediatrician.
- Six-year-old Yoselin who is receiving weekly speech therapy after a provider was able to fix her from being “tongue-tied” earlier this year.
- Josue B. who will travel with his mom over 8 hours to Tegucigalpa for a checkup after surgery to fix a club foot.
- Osman & Darwin who both have specialist appointments for sickle cell anemia.
- Brenis who has epilepsy and needs to see a specialist and get on the correct medications to stop his seizure activity.
May each patient and their family experience the comfort, peace, and healing presence of God through every moment of care.
Thank you for faithfully covering them in prayer—your support truly makes a difference!
Please Pray for Our Faithful Staff
Behind every successful mission trip, patient visit, and volunteer experience is a team of dedicated staff who give far more than their job descriptions require. They respond to calls, texts, and urgent needs at all hours—early mornings, late nights, weekends—always willing to stop what they’re doing to serve others.
They do this quietly, without recognition, without complaint, and without additional compensation. Their work is demanding, often thankless, and yet they continue to serve with grace and compassion because they genuinely care—for the mission, the volunteers, and most of all, the patients.
Please keep them in your prayers. Pray for strength, encouragement, rest, and provision. They are the steady foundation of this ministry, and their impact is immeasurable.
Your prayers are powerful. Thank you for standing with us in faith and love—your partnership is a true blessing!
Your generosity and prayers sustain this mission — thank you.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
Galatians 6:9–10
