The Altman Team rode into the little village of Rio Miel expecting a busy clinic day. A medical mission team had not visited the community in over 4 months. The need for primary medical care was great!
They did NOT expect such a heart whelming, warm welcome! The school and the children delighted them with a beautiful welcome!
Thanks to everyone on the team for all of their hard work. The team did 5 days of clinic in Limón, Rio Miel, Chapagua/Whispering Hope, and Plan de Flores. They saw 719 patients!
They were also able to give out reading and sunglasses to adults and children. What a blessing.
