Welcome Baby Samuel!
Our interpreter Jessie is happy to announce the birth of baby Samuel! He was quite early, but he weighed in at 5 lbs. and is growing strong and healthy!
We are grateful for everyone’s support of Jessie throughout her pregnancy. Each and every team checked on her and made sure everything was ok.
We are excited for everyone in 2024 to meet Sanuel!
Personal AND Professional Growth!
Manuel E. is a medical student recipient of the Eduardo Dubon Scholarship. He has finished his coursework and will begin his internship in November.
Before he begins this intensive experience, Manuel was able to go to Limón with the last team. He was overjoyed with the experience and noted how much he learned and how fortunate he was to work with people who are dedicated to helping.
As a special surprise, Manuel was able to spend the last couple of days with the team in Roatan. It was an experience of a lifetime for Manuel, who has never traveled far from home. “It was the best day of my life” he told the team leaders.
A great opportunity providing growth and encouragement to a doctor who will be practicing soon!!

What a fantastic team to end a great in-person mission team year!
Staff met today agreed that this year had so many positives, it was difficult to narrow them down to our top three! We all agree that we’ve been able to
- increase communication amongst all staff
- work better as a team to overcome any obstacle &
- build better relationships with different systems in Honduras to help improve patient care.
