Pharmacy Facelift!
A Whole Bunch of Scraping and Painting!!

It’s truly heartwarming to see the dedication and teamwork displayed by Douglas, Ben, and the rest of the staff at the clinic in Limón. Their efforts to revitalize the pharmacy shelves not only enhance the aesthetics of the space but also demonstrate a commitment to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.

The challenges they faced in completing the task within a short timeframe only underscore the admirable determination and hard work they put into the project. By giving the shelves some much-needed attention and care, they have undoubtedly made a significant improvement that will be appreciated by everyone who interacts with the clinic.

Moreover, the collaboration among the staff reflects a strong sense of community and shared responsibility, further contributing to the positive impact of their efforts. With the shelves now beautifully refurbished and fully stocked, the clinic is better equipped to serve its patients and fulfill its vital role in the community.

A Fantastic Opportunity to Visit Roatan!

It sounds like Gladis, Shanaya, Iveth, and Claudia had an amazing time on their trip to Roatan! Exploring new places and enjoying the beautiful beaches must have been a refreshing change of pace for them after their hard work organizing medication for the Mission Teams.

Sharing such experiences with colleagues and esteemed members of the medical team, like Dr. Bean, Dr. Liggin, and Dr. Strange, Steve Strange, and Christine surely made the trip even more memorable and meaningful. It’s fantastic to hear how they bonded and collaborated on a new project while also taking time to relax and enjoy the local cuisine.

The staff’s excitement about visiting Roatan for the first time and experiencing it with special mission team members reflects the deep sense of appreciation they have for each other’s company and the opportunity to explore their country together.

These moments of camaraderie and adventure not only strengthen their professional relationships but also create lasting memories that they will cherish for years to come. It’s wonderful to see their hard work recognized and rewarded with such a memorable and enjoyable experience.

School Started in Honduras!

It’s understandable that Iveth would have mixed emotions about sending her son, Adriel, to kindergarten for the first time. It’s a big milestone in both his and her life, marking the beginning of his formal education journey. Adriel certainly looks proud and ready for his new adventure in his school uniform with his backpack and lunchbox.

It’s heartening to see Iveth’s support and encouragement for her son as he embarks on this new chapter in his life. Education is a valuable asset, and it’s wonderful to see children like Adriel eager and enthusiastic about learning.

Wishing Adriel, along with all the school children in Honduras, a productive and fulfilling school year ahead. May they all have enriching experiences, make new friends, and continue to grow both academically and personally.

A Collaborative Partnership Brings New Computers to Limón!

It’s wonderful to hear about the exciting developments at Instituto Oficial Polivalente Abel González Caballero! The addition of 10 new computers to their lab signifies a significant advancement in their technological resources, which will undoubtedly enrich the learning experiences of the students.

The ongoing collaboration between the students and CHHF, where the students contribute by doing yard and beach cleanup in exchange for assistance purchasing new computers, is truly commendable. This partnership not only instills a sense of responsibility and community engagement in the students but also demonstrates the power of collective effort in fostering positive change.

Promoting health education alongside computer science not only broadens the students’ academic horizons but also equips them with valuable life skills that can positively impact their well-being and that of their community. It’s inspiring to see such a holistic approach to education being implemented.

Overall, these initiatives reflect a commitment to empowering students with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed academically and lead healthy, fulfilling lives. It’s heartening to see the dedication of the school and CHHF paving the way for a brighter future for all involved.
