Today, on National Day of Prayer, we invite you to join us in lifting our hearts and voices to God — praying for our communities, our nation, and the world.
Prayer is powerful. It unites us across distances, strengthens us in our calling, and reminds us that we are never alone in our mission to serve, heal, and bring hope to those in need.
At CHHF, we know that prayer is the foundation of the healing work we do. It sustains our teams, encourages our patients, and inspires us to continue in faith.

For Patients in Crisis
Lord, we lift up the men, women, and children who are waiting for healing—those who need medicine, therapy, surgery, and hope. May they feel Your presence, comfort, and healing hand.
For the Caregivers and Mission Teams
We pray for every volunteer, nurse, doctor, and student who serves selflessly. Give them strength, wisdom, and compassion as they bring Your light to the most vulnerable.
For Families in Honduras
God, we thank You for our friends in Honduras and the miracle of their friendship. We pray for her health and continued healing for patients who need more than their families can provide.
For the CHHF Staff & Leadership
Grant clarity and courage to those guiding this mission. Help them make wise decisions as they steward resources and care for so many in need.
For Generous Hearts
Move in the hearts of our supporters to act with compassion and generosity. May our prayers inspire action and multiply blessings.

…Medical Mission Teams
Join us in prayer for the Stover Team departing May 9th, the Williams Pharmaceutical Team departing May 10th, and the Selley team departing May 22nd.
Heavenly Father,
We lift up the medical mission teams preparing to serve in May.
Grant them safe travels, steady hands, and compassionate hearts.
Protect them from harm and strengthen them for the work ahead.
Fill them with Your wisdom as they bring healing and hope to those in need.
May every act of care reflect Your love, and may their efforts bear lasting fruit.
Bless the communities they serve, and let Your presence go before them in all they do.

…Friends and Patients in Honduras
We trust that God will guide each visit, granting wisdom to the doctors, healing for the patients, and peace and comfort for their families. Thank you for lifting them up in prayer!
Individual Patient Appointments – Please lift up the following patients in prayer as they seek medical care:
- An infant in need of prayer. Kimberly Mabel is a 6-day old baby who is being rushed to the emergency dept.
- Horlan & his mom – traveling to Tegucigalpa to see the eye doctor and pick up the glasses needed because of his eye injury in January,
- Jose, Eldy & their moms – as they travel to Tegucigalpa for consultations with Operation Rainbow (please pray for the Operation Rainbow providers, too!).
- Belkin – recheck appointment.
- Jairo – as he is healing from a severe burn. He has been released from the hospital, is healing well, but is in pain and having issues with open wounds.
Also, please pray for Adonys Samuel who was born prematurely this week He was transferred to a larger hospital but hey did not have an incubator available, and he passed. Please pray for his grieving mother and family.
May every patient and family feel God’s presence, peace, and healing through the care they receive.
