Our board of directors will be meeting on April 7th. Please pray for wisdom to guide the organization to serve and grow the mission.
Praise God that 2,126 patients in Honduras have received primary healthcare during the first quarter of the year. Another 165 have received vision care and 81 dental care. Thank the Lord for His provisions, protection, and blessing in this region for more than 28 years as CHHF Teams have brought medical care to people in desperate need.
Pray for the patients in our medical referral program as they await specialty care for advanced medical issues. Ask God to protect them and their families as they work hard every day through their illnesses and keep them safe during their health journey.
Pray for our nurse Shayana and her young son Nelson. Nelson was admitted to the hospital last week for an infection in his abdomen. Today they travel 4 hours to get an ultrasound to try to determine the cause so he can receive proper treatment.
Praise God for the new air-conditioned medication storage unit that has been completed. It will allow us to send & store medications in bulk for the teams, alleviating issues teams had with customs at the airport.
Pray for the Colby Team leaving on April 5 and the Kunda Team leaving on April 19. Both teams will travel two days before arriving at the clinic and serve patients in 5 different villages.
Praise the Lord for CHHF’s dedicated volunteers who seek to bless others with their time, talent, resources, and influence. Thank God for all the ways they are changing lives around the world through their support of CHHF.
